Biography: “Usher”

Usher real name Usher Raymond IV he was born October 14, 1978 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. Genre of songs is R&B. Before he was in his stage today he started singing as a choir member in a church led by Jonetta Patton his mother at 6-years-old. At 14-years-old Usher discovered from a talent show through a recording company La Face Records. And when he was in his high school years he signed a contract on that recording company. That was his first boast of his singing career. After the signing of his contract on La Face Record he was then known in the world as “Usher”.

Last 1994 he released his first single song in titled “Think of You” and this first single of him reached into gold status. In this year also was the year he first released his album named after his name “Usher” featuring Sean “Puffy” Combs. On the year 1995 he recorded the jingle of Coca-cola. He then also joined more than a few of the top male R&B lead singers to form the Black Men United intended for the single “You Will Know” featuring Jason Lyric soundtrack. He was also duo with the teen singing sensation Monica for the revival song of Latimore’s “Let’s Straighten It Out”.

His “May Way” album released on the year 1997 after graduating his high school period. This album goes platinum together with the “Nice & Slow” and this was hit last March 1998. Usher’s hip hop styled “Nice & Slow” got the slot as number one for eight weeks and made his first number one pop single. At the end of year 2000 he was then returned his third proper album that is in titled “All About U”. On his song “Your Remind Me” this brings him to the top of the US charts. In the year 2002 his single in titled “U Got It Bad” has reached to number 1 in US and this makes him as R&B bestseller from teen pop star.

For 2004 one of his single released in title “Yeah!” featuring Ludacris this produced by Lil Jon. This song was then became a radio and club favorite. March 2004 he released his latest album named “Confessions”. This album sold over 2.8 million copies. The R&B singer Usher did not just experience on singing he also tried on acting. Actually he appeared on the movie The Faculty and Light It Up. And there are more movies he also appeared.

He is now one of the great R&B singers. Keep it up “Usher”.
