Arnel Pineda’s Lupang Hinirang on Pacquiao’s Fight

Arnel Pineda’s Lupang Hinirang on Pacquiao’s Fight

Arnel Pineda the front man of the Rock Band Journey is facing possible raps for changing the tone and tempo of our Philippine National Anthem “Lupang Hinirang”.

He sang this last March 14 fight of Pacquiao-Clottey bout that was held at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Because of this the National Historical Institute is now filing a complaint against the Journey’s front man Arnel Pineda.

  1. isa pa to. we never learn from the past. hindi ba pedeng sabihan yung singers na kakanta ng national anthem natin to just keep it simple and as is. di naman singing contest yun na pataasan ng boses. last year yung ke martin na version ang sagwa din. this time, yung verison ni arnel ang sakit sa tenga. halos pumiyok na nga sya trying to bringing the tone higher and higher. ewan ko ba. nagiging big deal masyado yung national anthem eh pede naman simple lang at yung original na tono talaga. hindi naman ako apektado nyan.. hehe.. 🙂
